Dr. Daniel Kliche is first and foremost a team player and a values-based leader. From his academic education at the Technical University of Munich and the Bundeswehr University Munich, he has a strong technological background in aerospace engineering with a focus on modeling and simulation. Dr. Kliche gained industrial experience at Industrieanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH (IABG). In various management positions, he was responsible for the manufacturer-independent and product-neutral support of research and development programs for public clients and the creation of technology roadmaps. To this end, he built up interdisciplinary teams and worked closely with the German Armed Forces and partners from industry, universities, research institutes and start-ups.
Since 2022, Dr. Kliche has headed IABG's Innovation Centre and is responsible for the development of digital new products and services for IABG in the areas of "Secure Society", "Future Mobility" and "New Space", in particular using methods from the building blocks of artificial intelligence and machine learning. To promote a necessary culture of open innovation, Dr. Kliche focuses on collaboration and the development of ecosystems in the relevant areas.
Dr. Kliche co-founded the MUC.xyz initiative in 2022 and W3MUC initiative in 2024 with the aim of bringing together all the building blocks from the blockchain and Web3 sectors in Munich. This resulted in various exchange formats such as conferences and meet-ups, training programs for start-ups and students as well as concepts for funding programs and physical hubs that contribute to the development of an innovation community and the scaling of activities in the blockchain and Web3 sector.
