Finance Yard, a community for finance and emerging technologies, is proud to have joined Frankfurt Main Finance, an association promoting Frankfurt as a first-rate and international financial center. Frankfurt Main Finance pools the strengths of the market participants in the financial center, markets the location and creates top-class dialogue platforms. Finance Yard is delighted in participating in the discussions around emerging technologies.
Emerging technologies, such as blockchains, digital assets, and artificial intelligence are essential innovations that have the potential to transform the financial industry. Their accessibility, speed, efficiency, lower costs, transparency, and security allow them to challenge existing financial system infrastructure. Emerging technologies also require existing business models and regulatory frameworks to adapt to enable innovation and progress.
"Our goal is to play an important role in enabling the dialog about emerging technologies in finance," said Michael Wellenbeck, Member of the Finance Yard Advisory Board. "Finance Yard is eager to contribute to Frankfurt Main Finance and the financial community as a whole further by providing a platform for exchange and innovation."
Finance Yard is educating people about the usefulness of emerging technologies. Finance Yard believes that technology adaptation in finance is a continuous process and can only happen with regulatory clarity as well as compliant solutions. The regional focus of Finance Yard is Europe and its local chapters are currently active in Germany.
